Madrid, Spain. From 17 to 23 July in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid), the Claretian biblical team had a meeting convened by the General Prefecture of Apostolate.
The encounter has been entitled "crossroads" and involves experts in Biblical-Pastoral areas where the Congregation carries out its missionary evangelization: Juan Bautista Florez of Colombia-Venezuela, Arul Robin of Chennai, Henry Omonisaye of West Nigeria, Emeterio Chaparro of the Province of Santiago and José Vidal of MICLA. Other participants are experts or heads of publications such as Alberto Rossa of Macau, Jude Langeh of Cameroon, Martin Amalanathan of St. Charles Lwanga, Jacob Arackal of Bangalore, and Josep Roca along with Claretian Publications of Barcelona with layman Marcelli. Also attending were some internet experts like Jesus Centeno of Spain and Louie Guades of the Philippines.
In addition to assessing the journey on the road from the last meeting of the team had in Quibdó (Colombia), the leaders of the various continental areas have reported on the projects of Bible-based pastoral ministry that is being made.
The Meeting will conclude with the development of a number of proposals for the next General Chapter of the Congregation.
